Whether you’re avoiding the great expense of subsidence, preventing the spread of pests and disease, or if you are simply looking to create more open space, our tree removal services can help. Tree removal can be a complex job. We take many factors into account when deciding how to best approach it. Our highly qualified tree surgeons have the knowledge and experience to assess your circumstances and decide the safest, most effective course of action. We have two methods of removal – Tree Felling & Sectional Dismantle.
Tree felling is when we cut a tree down from ground level. To do this we create a series of cuts in order to take the tree down safely in a controlled fashion. A tree will only be cut down in this way when we can limit danger and avoid hazards. We will not expose any people or property to undue risk.
We consider the direction that the tree leans, the speed and direction of the wind, any obstacles we need to avoid and the species of tree that we are cutting. Our advice is that you don’t attempt felling a tree of any substantial size yourself. This can be very dangerous!
When straight felling a standing tree isn’t possible, we will undertake a sectional dismantle. This is normally because the tree is too close to an obstruction for us to fell it in one go.
Here, we take a tree apart piece by piece, starting from the top and working our way down. We will lower each piece of the tree carefully to the ground ensuring no damage is caused to your property. Once we have completed the work we will remove any waste restoring your garden to a place of peace and tranquility.
Whichever method best suits your situation we always pay special care to keep any noise or disturbance to a minimum. We understand that you need to go about your day to day life and we won’t disrupt that.
